Kids for Kids
We believe our Tamariki not only have the ability to be future leaders, but we believe our Tamariki are world-changers today. Through our Kids for Kids program, we encourage our children to be involved with initiatives that have a lasting impact in their local community.
In the last year, Alphabet Academy, as a part of Vision Community Trust donated one hundred 'Back to School Packs' to Cloverlea and Takaro Schools. In addition to this, the Alphabet Academy children and families gifted over one hundred presents to the Palmerston North Woman’s Refuge at Christmas.
Another initiative was the reverse advent calendar, where food was collected from families to give to the Legacy Centre, and then used to provide for a Christmas Celebration meal for the local community.
We endeavor to be involved in the world around us by identifying needs in our community and actively engage in helping to meet these needs.
Vision Community Trust models this approach through investing and providing free childcare hours, above the 20 hours E.C.E to families in need. As we continue to develop our Kids for Kids program we look forward to sharing with you the impact your little world changer can have in their community.
"Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children."
